Gono Odhikar Parishad (GOP), a Bangladeshi’s political party, called on world leaders to take effective action to tackle the effects of climate change. The reckless policies of some industrialized countries have brought disaster to the world today. Third world countries like Bangladesh are the victims of global warming.
According to climate change researchers and environmental scientists Bangladesh is one of the countries hit hardest by extreme weather, and this vulnerable community is enduring exactly the kind of future that the COP26 climate conference in Glasgow is trying to avoid. Meanwhile, United Nations Climate Change Conference, also known as COP26, is the 26th United Nations Climate Change conference. It is being held at the SEC Centre in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom, from 31 October until 12 of November 2021.
Besides, GOP also called on world leaders to ensure that rich and industrialized nations play their part in preventing global climate change. Global warming is on the rise so that they can extend a helping hand to third world countries like Bangladesh.
However, Gono Odhikar Parishad is a new political party in Bangladesh, lead by Dr Reza Kibria, Oxford Schooler and he was lead advisor also coordinating author of IMF and World Bank.
Gono Odhikar Parishad – has been floated with Young charismatic leader former Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (Ducsu) VP Nurul Haque Nur as its member secretary
Nurul Haque Nur formed it in the time of golden jubilee of its Independent when the country faces political Crisis since over dicades.
This party committed his people to return their voting and human right. They are also gives words to ensure renewable energy and halt climate change in Bangladesh.
GOP seeking UN involvement for the next general election in Bangladesh and they claimed that there election system collapsed and Bangladesh made a one party country.
“There are not any alternative way to return peoples rights and safe life except UN involvement,” Kibria said.
“We believe, this is the time to halt climate change and we are with the world to safe world and its life,” Nur said
Mr Nur said One this reason, our representatives are in the Cop26 summit. We urged to world leader that please stop produce green house gas and save the world.
